Pradeep Joshi – Director

Pradeep Joshi is a founder of the Sangeet Dhwani organization. He is passionate about his efforts to create a revolutionary rebirth of the Indian music era in the international audience for all forms of Indian music and talent. He has been a catalyst for the local growth of talent and opportunity among many Bay Area artists and even artists who visit from India. He has been very active for the last 21 years in Bay Area based Indian community organizations and has worked as Program Director previously for another major Indian community organization.  He was also the Senior Commissioner on Santa Clara County Senior Care Commission, Housing and Human Services Commissioner in the City of Sunnyvale


Satish GadagkarSatish Gadagkar – Music Advisor

Satish Gadagkar has been playing and teaching violin for the past 30 years. He has given 200 stage programs in the UK, USA, and India.

He teaches Indian and Western system notations.

In addition to his amazing musical talent, he has been a very active advisor for Sangeet Dhwani. He has also drawn a lot of talented artists into Sangeet Dhwani and has been a very useful asset to the organization.

SMaanUstad Surinder Mann – Music Advisor

Ustad Surinder Mann has been into music from the early age of six. He learned tabla under the tabla maestro late Ustad Alla Rakha. He has also been trained in vocal and sitar and holds a Mastersdegree in both. He has performed with many renonwed musicians such as Ustad Bade Gulam Ali Khan, G.S. Sachdev, Ustad Amjad Ali Khan and many more. He has trained a large number of youth and children inTabla, Sitar, Keyboard, Hindustani classical music over the last twenty years in the Bay Area. Ustad Surinder Mann has been into music from the early age of six. He learned Tabla under the tabla maestro late Ustad Alla Rakha. He has also been trained in Hindusthani Vocal and Sitar and holds a Masters degree in both. He has performed with many renowned musicians such as Ustad Bade Gulam Ali Khan, G.S. Sachdev, Ustad Amjad Ali Khan and many more.He has trained a large number of youth and children in Tabla, Sitar, Keyboard, Hindustani classical music over the last twenty years in the Bay Area.

NikitaNikitha Parikh – Event Coordinator

Nikita Parikh is a bay area artist. She has been deeply involved with the music scene in the Silicon Valley performing, teaching and attending concerts.  As a program manager for the India Community Center (ICC), she organized various classes in music, dance, language, sports and also taught Gujarati language to children and adults.  She specialises in semi classical film songs, ghazals and garba. She has arranged musical shows for kids and adults at local organizations. Currently she teaches Indian music to children and continues her advanced training in Hindustani classical music.
